In under 48 hours my mind has been completely invaded by thoughts of autumn. Yesterday it was the first day of coat weather and that signals the arrival of autumn to me. My challenge for the next week is to resist wearing the autumnal outfits I keep picturing and save them for school!
Buuut today I gave in... only because we're not allowed to wear leggings. And I've just realised everything I'm wearing is Topshop...awkward. Well I made the dreamcatcher. :)

Rosy cheeks
Sunset gives a beautiful light to photos but because the sky is changing colour so rapidly, photos taken over a few minutes can look vastly different and be a pain to edit similarly.
Wearing Topshop shorts, Urban Outfitters jumper, Zara top, mom's belt (need to find a similar one - it's very well loved!), random tights, self-made jewellery, assorted wristbands, L's bangles and two matching kiddie scrunchies. Oh and neon orange may be my favourtie nail colour ever... I'm going to experiment with more neons.
At the moment I'm trying to only wear short, tight, or otherwise school-innapropriate clothes in a bid to try get it all out of my system before I'm forced to conform (and I freeze because I will yet again choose to ignore the winter weather). Kind of difficult when I'm only thinking about how to appropriate-ize my wardrobe. But at least it's nearly September, when it will be officially my favourite clothes season. Can't wait. :)

Casually
Got back from visiting L in Sweden today. Because I'm an awful blogger, I took barely any blog-able photos...but here are the only two outfit photos I managed to take. Dress from Miss Selfridge (it's definitely a winter dress - I BOILED) and DM's. There were however lots of photo ops which made me want to have a tripod on me at all times as well as at least 2 types of camera (phone counts). :)

Deshabillé
Felt very French this morning when getting dressed for some reason... though I doubt a stylish Frenchie would wear chopped stuff. Wearing mom's top and chopped skirtm chopped sweater/top from H&M, Topshop boots, self-made earring (closer picture another time) and kiddie basket. :)
Ps. Looking at this photo, it really makes me wish I'd had a vintage suitcase next me 'cause it looks like I'm about to leave.

Tea party
Today I grabbed a friend and we went back to the heather-y meadow from this post to take photos and have a fairy tea party because we are just that cool.
I wore some really old tights that I never wear because they're a tad bright, a really old dress, vintage denim jacket, Topshop boots and an aborable basket bag (attatched to my wrist with a chain - thank you Louis Vuitton for that fabulous idea) that came with the tea set from when I was a kid. :)

Patterns in the wild
Didn't even realise I was wearing all pastels today until I went out to take photos.
Wearing a lace top from Gozo, bag from Bangkok, jeggings from H&M, boots from Topshop and self-made necklace (I think I'm going to take off the feather because it's very annoying).
How fab are my new boots? They replace my much loved and abused leopard flats and, even better, they have a scalloped edge! I think I have a thing about boots because I always wear them. I adore this bag that my dad got me ages ago but I rarely use it because the handle seems quite delicate and also I generally have way too much stuff to cart around. :)
Ps. This could so be an ad for that bag.

Recent dreams
A bunch of stuff I've made recently, which can be split pretty easily into two themes.
Navajo/aztec style - ribbon stuck onto my phone, big feathers from a Miss Selfridge necklace, clay and mirror (reversible) pendant, clay and ribbon ankh (the one seen in this post which broke later that day so I happily refashioned it) and feather necklace.
Gaga-inspired mask, clay and mirror earring, transparent plastic earrings and pendants, and clay diamond outline pendant. :)

Sweet potato
Summer it may be (a very annoying temperature in England - not hot but just warm enough to overheat in a jacket) but I can't get autumnal colours out of my head. However I have fallen pray to the "oh look it's summer, let's wear white" mindset but since I luckily don't own any white pants, I went for a white skirt instead. Let's just say that when I walked into a patch of sunlight, I was blinded.
Wearing an Asos jacket, Topshop Wonderwoman body, New Look skirt, DM's and self-made necklace. Yes, another ankh. :)

Diamond Dogs
Ah it's so bad that I want a better camera already. What I really want is a clone so I can actually see when I take photos of myself. And to be able to control the lighting.
Anyway, this is my new favourite necklace, made by myself. It did collapse a bit in the oven but it's supposed to be a diamond shape. I'm also frantically cutting away at some plastic stuff to make lots of transparent triangle earrings (which I am wearing but you can't see).
Worn with a River Island top and Primark jacket because I am in a very very clear, white, spacey mood. :)

Sticks and stones and weed and bones
^MIA
Spent a while just chilling at a museum. Wearing father's grey jumper, Topshop snake leggings, DMs and oddly enough I boiled to death. Took a while to get a photo (sorry about the blurry hand but it's the best one) because kids were everywhere, but I liked the trip vibe, reminded me of when I was younger and used to spend my summer holidays at museums or art galleries with my parents. :)
