 As I said a few days ago, I'm venturing into BTK. And I like it. Scratch that, I looove this skirt. Perfectly slouchy yet ladylike and makes me feel like some modern Marylin. Also still obsessing over purple'n'green - I want to wear this vest every day. :)

Knee length is an usual territory for me, I'm not a fan of knees. But recently I've been liking slouchy below the knee stuff so why not. I did think this dress was a bit longer but oh well, I got a surprising amount of compliments. And when in doubt, wear dangerous jewellery. :)

Walking around with a layer hanging out is surprisingly comforting, as is the armour-ness of this plate necklace. Also purple and green together again yay. :)

Masks

Looking through some of last year's art and I found these photos I'd taken of A in masks I'd made. They were supposed to show calmness and I think they do, but in a slightly creepily way. The last one is my favourite - the delicateness of the eyelashes and the softness of the sleepy colours constrated with the violence of appearing blinfolded and gagged. I've always thought pretty dolls frightening in their innocence. :)

I figured back-to-school meant it was time to break out the autumn jewellery, so here are my favourite bronze woodland creatures and my creepily beautiful new favourite Illuminati necklace. I didn't however reckon on the perfectly illuminating sun. Oh and you can see the notes to myself written on my hand... :)

Nunz on a mad one

This photo taken by Hanneli Mustaparta is what inspired me to dip dye my ends green. The plain astuteness of the black and the soft beauty of the green match so unexpectedly well. I've been wanting to replicate this look for like ever!

Don't I look a giant, I love wide-angle effects. And rest assured next time I go green, it will be higher and I will wear pants to replicate this beloved look more accurately. :)

Inspiration - Fall

Happy September! I love September and autumn. In The Sims (I had a fully blown Sims 2 addiction and still would if my current computer could handle the graphics), autumn is the time for learning new skills and starting again. Much more effective in the warm golden oranges of autumn than in grey January I think. So in preparation for a new year, here are some of my all-time favourite photographs for inspiration. :)
