This bag is my favourite thing right now. Made from this tutorial on Rookie, it's just so adorable. And I found the perfect book to make it out of - a book about games called "Organised Fun"! Wore this to the theatre last night. :)

No prizes for guessing that I love cartoon eyes! Ever since visiting the Dali museum in summer, I've become more and more interested in Surrealism. My favourite of the painter is Rene Magritte but I really identify with Dali's (and others') experiments with fashion and jewellery, and Elsa Schiaparelli's work. (Honestly I much prefer Schiaparelli to her contemporary Chanel, and I wish I could have seen the Prada/Schiaparelli Impossible Conversations exihibition in NY last year waaah.) So, when I saw this DIY eyes trench on The Clothes Horse, I knew I had to do it. It makes me feel like a female Dirk Gently! :)

An homage to the 90s that turned out more 80s.... Wearing my new babys - pristine white platform Converse, and my now not-so-pristine (see almost unnoticable blue and red paint splodges) jeans. And some of my mom's supafly jewellery that I dug out. I'm not sure why she has a white leather chain belt but she does and I love her for it. :)

Another oldie but goodie. I've been wearing a lot more of what I call normal (ok I admit it, I mean boring) clothes ie. simple shapes and patterns. I think my best friend's self-professed minimalism is rubbing off on me. Or my stress-laden art project on colour is sucking the colour out of me. Either way, expect a lot of grey, navy, black and white. :)

This is what I wore to my interview this week, my last one thank god. Complete with messy hair. The climb over the monkey bars was hard in a skirt ok, so be glad that I'm determined to procrastinate in the sun for this blog. :)
