Hallucinogenic
Primark top painted by moi
Urban Outfitters belt
skirt from Scotland
Doc Martens
"Prada" purse from Malaysia
I remembered I hadn't worn my purple lipstick in a while..it's sadly impractical. Matches my purple purse which of course is a fake but believe me when I say I bought it for the colour not the brand name (although I do so love Prada). Also I'm having an obsession with green and I'm really sad the colour in my hair is washing out so quickly, can't even photograph it properly because it's so light. Gonna have to do it again soon! :)

Mermaid
Primark flower headband
Topshop dress
In preparation for Leeds fest this year I dipdyed the ends of my hair turquoise! I've been wanting to do it for a while and had vague plans but I'm a novice dye-r so didn't think I'd get round to it, but a few days ago I had a #YOLO moment and did it with J who did her ends purple. (I'm so doing purple next time..) I wanted more greeny but it was either this colour or lime green bleh. I think it looks awesome... but I'm not sure how permanent "semi-permanent" is... and my mother said I have to look "respectable" by September... Meh. :)
Ps. My ends are darker and more greeny then it looks here, swear down.

More pictures from España, taken at the Dalí museum - the best laid out museum ever because there's no proper order and it's a circle - with part of the largest surrealist sculpture in the world may I point out, Gaudi's park Gruell, in the lovely old building housing the Picasso museum, an amazing cactus garden, wandering the main city and a quiet afternoon on a secluded beach in the cliffs. Told you I was a good art student - counting Barcelona and London and Manchester, I swear I've been to about 15 art museums in the past 3 weeks. :)

Our sacred family
These photos from la Sagrada Familia are so beautiful they deserve a post of their own. The most famous and influencial Modernista architect, Antoni Gaudi became increasingly religious during his life and la Basílica i Temple Expiatori de la Sagrada Família is his masterpiece. He took over the project in 1883 and despite his untimely death by tram (lol) in 1926 and the interuption of the Spanish Civil War, construction continues today. If you're ever in Barcelona, obviously go look at it because it is the city's most iconic landmark, but also brave the queues to go inside because it the light is absolutely breathtaking. :)
Ps. Ooops most of them didn't post because I messed up the html but fixed that now!
Pps. These photos are completely unedited.

A family trip to Barcelona last week gave me the chance to practise my Spanish (/guess at understanding the Catalan), see my Texan cousins and explore a city full of beautiful and wacky buildings (and complain about the blinding sun and sweltering heat). These are photos taken while gawking Gaudí buildings and park, wandering round the medieval old town, discovering hip veggie resturants, exploring the Costa Brava and visiting art museums because I'm a good little art student. One photo is at the Joan Miro museum where I deliberately/fortunately/accidentally matched my dress to his work. Cute creepily innocent creatures FTW. :)
