I get a lot of comments on this hat, many asking what "existentialist" means(!). My friend N was joking about getting a custom beanie saying "nihilist" (mostly to be a pretentious hipster) and I told my parents about it. Since for my birthday I asked for the works of Sartre, Simone de Beauvoir and Kierkegaard, my parents thought it would be funny to get me an existentialist hat. And I love it. :)
