I've slowly been repairing this beautiful 1940s Pierre Balmain dress for a friend. Many hours of delicate hand-sewing later, all the rips and tears are fixed so how could I not shoot it? Walking around where I live at 9am in an evening dress and heels towing a tripod was a somewhat weird experience, but worth it for these shots (before a confused security guard told me to go away).
