A leopard can't change its spots
Originally going to leo-ize all my nails not just my thumbs but ran out of time and patience for not being able to use fingers so the others are a matching warm brown-y gold. Jacket from H&M (always get compliments on it - I should wear it more), self-made necklace (with one of my baby teeth on, hehe) and shirt from somewhere in India, A's bracelet, vintage skirt and mothers' belt. This belt goes with everything and this skirt (which is a bit too big in the waist) looks fab with a belt - it gets a sorta paper bag effect. :)

Like an 808 drum

Vanity and a perchant for aliens, robots and circuit boards. They're for my art project; I don't just have random bits of computer lying around in my house (although I probably do actually). Also discovered a talent for beehives which shall be abused as often as possible. Blouse/jacket from Asos, necklace self-made. :)

Rawr
For part of L's art project she made my up and took some photos. She's not shown/sent me all of them yet, so here's a couple I took myself (makeup, tattoos and semi-crazed hair by L). I know they're all the same pose but I wanted to show my arm too and it was very hard to find a good (and comfortable) position.

I seriously want a real tattoo but I'm not sure what or where. And I'm so indecisive that as soon as I get it, I'll change my mind and want another one. So facepaint is a good way forward but the it rubs off easily. Perhaps permanent marker then? :)

Rays tangle up around your face and body
^ Snow Patrol
Celebrating the appearance of the sun. At times like this I wish I knew old Celtic traditions. Spring solstice? Still cold out, but warm in the sunlight. I'd forgotten that I love spring after the never-ending winter. Hail the months that turn me into a hippie.

Topshop palm tree crop top and earrings (that I've been wearing non-stop for two weeks because they're perfect), H&M jeggings, mother's cardigan and belt, tie-dye top from Cornell, self-made silver angel hair necklace and gold fairy dust necklace. Yes, an actual pot of glitter that I can wear around my neck and open to sprinkle some magic. :)

Sprite
I felt unsually girly today so decided to take full advantage and dress like a ballerina/princess/fairytale. Hence the white overload. And photo overload (apologies).

Top, earrings and stag head ring from Topshop; skirt from New Look; belt from H&M; boots from Zara; gifted bangles and bird ring; wooden bracelet (accidently) stolen from A; Primark headband and random lace ribbon and fishbone bead.
It's kinda freezing, but.. all herald the arrival of spring! When I was little I used to plant daffodils every year and water them eagerly until they first poked their heads above the ground. As I grew up, I graduated to snowdrops, crocuses and eventually tulips. My family doesn't really garden anymore but I still love seeing the first spring flowers at the bottom of the garden. :)

GAGA x MUGLER
One word: WOW. So wish I was in Paris, wish it wasn't a school night, wish I was Someone so I could have been on that front row. Incredible. Heels reminicent of Mcqueen's SS10 (big platform, very spiky, curved heel), beautiful deconstrcuted dresses, Gaga's insanely long bunches and best of all, models looking like they were having fun dancing along to MM's new songs.
Pictures to be added when I can find them (probably tomorrow unless someone is ridiculously quick). :)

Bricks and marbles
So summer came for two days, but I was preparing for rain and greyness. Gr. Although I was very comfortable in this - must need to invest in more boys' tops which look particularly oversized when thrown over a slim fitting long sleeve and a tight waist. And now winter's back, so all my light mystic dreams are over for a while.
Wearing a top and coat from H&M, mens rugby shirt from India, skirt from USA Pro, self-made necklace and ring, bag from Christmas markets and Rocketdog shoes but I don't think you can see them, oops. :)
PS. Will reply to comments later. I do read them all and will reply, even if it takes a few days! :)
