Sodium

Twilight is one of my favourite times of day (actually I like most times of day except the depressing period 12-half 3). Ignore any connotations with Stephanie Meyer's books. I've always wanted to take photos illuminated by the warm glow of yellow streetlights, especially as there is one right outside my bedrom window which shines through the curtains and comforts me when I can't sleep.

Unfortunately, I picked the wrong day as there were tons of teenagers walking past giving me wierd looks, so I didn't take many pictures. Apparently a girl in a trench and heels with a massive tripod and camera is not a normal sight on the street at 10 o'clock.

Wearing my mom's new coat, from Debenhams I think, and Topshop shoes. Can you tell I've been watching film noirs? :)

Treemania 200

I unintentionally dressed like a tree so I intentionally took pictures with two of my three favourite trees.

Wearing a Topshop dress and earrings, mom's top, random tights and Swedish Hasbeens x H&M shoes. Be glad I took off the belt that looks like tree bark.

'Here's a tree impression. :)

Featheration

Internet window shopping lusting gives inspiration. A navajo-ish feather headress is in the creation process but has been paused while I dreamcatcherise (new verb meaning "to make a dreamcatcher"). I agree the one above doesn't have the standard pattern but hey, I like triangles. Can't wait for my first ever festival to wear this feather monstrosity and it's soon-to-be-created neon sibling. :)

Inspiration - Colourful simplicity

Like many bloggers I follow, I've been dressing more simply recently. Although that's more to do with the way I hate forward planning and carrying massive bags all day (alright, I'm lazy.. And tired) than trying to slim down my wardrobe. I like my wardrobe fat. Anyway, here's some inspiration.

Yep, these are from Dylana and Natalie. Gonna have to admit my love for the Suarez sistahs. :)

Rockin' owt

My "outfits" change throughout the day as I discover I can't write while wearing certain pieces of jewellery, change temperature then add or remove layers as appropriate and redo my hair as according to convenience etc.

This particular look was pretty much unplanned and I wasn't planning to take pictures as it was purely for comfort and revision purposes. But bits got added and I realised I rather liked it, and felt like a rockstar with ma leather jacket, leopard print and hat. The best part of it is by far the hat. I intend to extend my hat repetoire.

Wearing a Miss Selfridge jacket, dad's Hawaiian top. Topshop leggings, H&M necklace, old bag and L's hat which I "borrowed". :)

Ps. Photos by L who said she's now going to be "the one that follows you around with a camera taking cool pictures" haha.
Pps. Thank you very much to my new follower! :)

Petrichor

If there's one thing I love, it's the smell of rain. Sat out all day in the rain which should explain the coat.

Oh I also love multiple edits of the same photo. Wearing jeans from India, a cut-up H&M top, a cut-up vintage sweater, Miss Selfridge coat and some very lovely earrings that I forgot to photograph. Another day. :)

Merci.

Era

What a relief to have Blogger back again. I never knew I was so addicted.

I believe photographs are memories and that's why I always have a camera on me. I might be a bit annoying, constantly sticking a camera in your face and capturing the unflattering poses but in 10 years, we'll have forgotten the little moments and will spend hours laughing at old photographs of ourselves.

The earrings I made..

..and the dress they were made to match.

I'm a vampire. No seriously, I kind of hate the sun. And I'm sparkly. :)
