No prizes for guessing that I love cartoon eyes! Ever since visiting the Dali museum in summer, I've become more and more interested in Surrealism. My favourite of the painter is Rene Magritte but I really identify with Dali's (and others') experiments with fashion and jewellery, and Elsa Schiaparelli's work. (Honestly I much prefer Schiaparelli to her contemporary Chanel, and I wish I could have seen the Prada/Schiaparelli Impossible Conversations exihibition in NY last year waaah.) So, when I saw this DIY eyes trench on The Clothes Horse, I knew I had to do it. It makes me feel like a female Dirk Gently! :)
