Yesterday was the first time I've ever worn a proper silk sari and this one was a birthday present from my mother and grandmother. It's not obvious on these photos but it's double colour - blue and purple, but the purple can only be seen from certain angles so it's hard to photograph. When I'm wearing it, looking down, I can see only purple but apparently not for everyone else. :)
